A PBS documentary producer says reports that his camera crew trespassed at a Wicomico County poultry farm are false. The producer says his crew remained on public property and had already spoken with the farmer about filming her land. The farmer called the sheriff’s office when she suspected crew members entered her barn, which they deny. Meanwhile, an environmental group, the Waterkeepers Alliance, is denying reports that it was in charge of the film crew and conducted water and soil tests on the land. Director Kristine Stratton says the Alliance had nothing to do with the incident and does not produce documentaries. The executive director of the Delmarva Poultry Justice Alliance, Carole Morison, says the story has been blown out of proportion.
