Steve Scott, Chief of Operations, Queen Anne’s County Ride and Terry Ober, Community Traffic Safety Program Coordinator will host the First Annual County Vehicle Competition for many drivers from the county ride, Emergency Service ambulances, fire department brush trucks, county and state roads departments and local churches.
August 5th from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, Centreville Middle School parking lot will be the competition location.
Mr. Scott announced “Our judges are ready to score our driver’s ability and give prizes for those showing their professional driving skills.
“This event is for fun and to allow our drivers to become more familiar with safety of their vehicle”, said Mr. Ober. This competition will allow our drivers to learn more about their ability with safe driving and also share in the “good time” as the driver’s compete for “Bragging Rights”. Driver’s are wanted and should contact Steve or Terry.
Prizes will include food coupons from local restaurants and other safety related gifts. Local business support is greatly appreciated.
Traffic Safety displays will allow our spectators to enjoy the competition while obtaining important information from our vendors. Come join the FUN!
