Fish Named Shore Health System Senior Director and Site Executive for IT

Elizabeth Fish, MBA, of Easton has been named senior director and site executive for Shore Health System’s information technology (IT) department. In this role, she participates in development and implementation of the organization’s strategic IT goals. As a member of the University of Maryland Medical System IT leadership team, Fish ensures that Shore Health System, including The Memorial Hospital at Easton, Dorchester General Hospital and outpatient centers across the Mid-Shore region, have the systems available to provide healthcare services in a cost effective and efficient manner.

Fish earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Cornell University and a masters in business administration with a specialization in information services from the University of Southern Florida in Tampa.

Fish began her information technology career with Meditech in Massachusetts as an applications consultant. She was an account executive for Radguard, a virtual private networking company in Bedford, Massachusetts. In 2001, she relocated to Florida to work for Manatee Healthcare System in Bradenton, Florida. As a clinical system analyst and later as a manager and director of information technology, Fish facilitated the use of computer systems for hospital staff and led the installation and maintenance of new systems and technologies for the two-hospital system.

Before joining Shore Health System, Fish was manager of clinical operations for Baltimore Washington Medical Center, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System based in Glen Burnie.
