The Coast Guard says the freighter that ran aground in the Chesapeake Bay has been re-floated. The ship is safely anchored near Annapolis while crews inspect the vessel, but there are no signs of damage or pollution. The 800-foot Bahamian-flagged CSL Argosy was heading to Baltimore when it ran aground near Gibson Island. To be re-floated, crews had to remove nearly 20,000 metric tons of iron ore from the ship and transfer it to barges. The cause of the grounding remains under investigation.
