The United Fund of Talbot County (UFTC) announced the unanimous election of Dr. Zuleika Ghodsi as a new member to its governing board, Class of 2012, at a recent board of directors meeting.
Dr. Ghodsi serves as a full-time surgical and medical physician at her privately-owned Ophthalmology practice, Delmarva Laser Eye Center. An active participant in the community, she is a member of the County School Parents Association, the Lions Club, and served on the 2009 United Fund’s Agency Review Committee. She has a BA in biology, with emphasis in neurobiology and physiology from Northwestern University, and a medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society. She resides in Easton with her husband, Ali Soulati, and their three children.
