Landover-based Giant Food is announcing a ten-year deal with PNC to provide in-store banking services to its 183 supermarkets in Maryland, Delaware, DC and Virginia. The first phase of the agreement will see the installation of 41 new full-service, in-store branches and 180 ATM’s while bringing 225 jobs to the region. PNC expects to have its new branches up and running by early next year.
