Glenda Dawson of Easton has been recognized by the Talbot County Department of Social Services as Talbot County’s Adoptive Parent of the Year. Dawson received her foster/adoptive parent license in 2004 in order to become a foster parent resource for her great-niece, Jayden. Dawson adopted Jayden in the spring of 2008.

According to Becky Skinner, LGSW, Foster Care Worker with the Talbot County Department of Social Services, “During this time period, Ms. Dawson has remained a steady and calming influence in the lives of Jayden and other family members. We are honoring her for the loving care and commitment she has shown to this family.”
