Habitat for Humanity of Talbot and Dorchester Counties is pleased to announce the addition of Nancy Andrew to its staff. Andrew assumes the role of Deputy Director, a newly created position in the organization. She will manage all fundraising activities and oversee volunteer efforts, church relations, and publicity. Andrew comes to Habitat from Shore Health System, where she served as Grant Writer. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of Talbot Mentors.
“Nancy’s leadership experience and knowledge of the community will be a real asset for Habitat,” said Susan Devlin, executive director.
“Her commitment to working in a mission driven organization in the region she calls home makes her the perfect addition to our staff.”
A native of Talbot County, Andrew holds a BA degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park and completed her certification to teach at the secondary level at Washington College in Chestertown.
Andrew is a 2002 graduation of Shore Leadership, and currently serves as the president of the Board of Directors for that organization. She continues to volunteer as a mentor with Talbot Mentors.
