Mammography technologist Karen Haddaway, RT(R)(M), is the most recent Shore Health System employee to be recognized as an Everyday Hero.

The Memorial Hospital Foundation sponsors the Everyday Hero Program to give patients and their families an opportunity to honor a physician, staff member or volunteer by making a financial donation to the Foundation. These gifts are used to support Shore Health System in continuing its mission of delivering Exceptional Care, Every Day.

The patient who was cared for by Haddaway made a donation to the Everyday Hero program because, she said, “Karen was caring, professional and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and showed empathy. She’s in a good spot!”
