Hartley Gets Eight Years For Door-Checking Incident

Nathan Hartley, the now-18-year-old who drove his Honda Civic into a couple of young boys in Chester Harbor in a stunt called door-checking, will spend eight years in prison for the incident. Hartley was arrested by the QA Sheriff’s Office. He was sentenced to 47 years with all but eight of the years suspended. The two boys he hit, now 12 and 16, were hospitalized and later released. Chester Harbor residents say they still will not let their kids play on their front lawns because of that incident.
