Talbot Mentors will hold three informational coffees at various locations around the county this month. On Wednesday, October 22, stop and chat with volunteers about the mentoring program at Coffee East on Goldsborough Street in Easton from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.

On Sunday, October 26, volunteer mentors will be at the Bagel Bakery in Eastonand at Blue Crab Coffee in St. Michaels from 10 a.m. until noon.

Adults with an interest in learning how to become a mentor are welcome to stop by during any of these opportunities and have a cup of coffee. Current mentors will be on hand to share their experiences and describe the program.

Talbot Mentors carefully matches volunteers with kids who can benefit from having an additional adult friend in their lives. Year-round staff support and activities for both mentors and children help ensure successful relationships.
