Michael Bourne resigned from the Kent County Historical Preservation Commission. He was one of the original members. Bourne says his work with the Commission is cutting too deeply into time to run his own business as a restoration consultant. Bourne reportedly had opposed Verizon building a cell tower in the county. The county later approved the tower, but Bourne says that had no bearing on his leaving.
