Melissa Kay-Steves and Michelle Kealey are the featured artists at Island Arts for the month of October. Each is a part of this new Kent Island artist and artisan co-op gallery and will have their work prominently displayed here all month.

Melissa Kay-Steves is a local PMC (precious metal clay) fine silver jewelry artist whose designs are beautiful and delicate. Many of Ms. Kay-Steves’ pieces are created by using natural elements.

Michelle Kealey is a local ribbon weaver. Her pieces are woven in large part by using antique ribbons and/or those found during her travels abroad.

Please join us for a reception for Ms. Kay-Steves and Ms. Kealey on Saturday, October 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Island Arts. Hors d’oeuvres will be donated by Angelina’s.
