Queen Anne’s Commissioners have approved the county’s $104-million budget and kept the property tax rates the same. Commissioners also passed many sub-budgets to keep county services such as Bay Bridge Airport and Blue Heron Golf Course running. The school budget will get another $4.5-million. Kent County Commissioners unanimously approved the county’s FY09 package late last week; a $42-million budget that also keeps property taxes at 2008 levels.
