Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties are among the first to get grants from the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays 2010 Trust. The fund was established a year ago to accelerate Bay restoration by concentrating on the most effective projects. Once approved, individual projects will get more than $11-million over the next two fiscal years. They include improvements to the Middle Chester River and Corsica River watersheds in Queen Anne’s County. Talbot County also will receive part of that money.
