Kent County announced that Dr. Barbara Wheeler from Bel Air will replace current school superintendent Anthony Pack, who is returning to Georgia. Wheeler gets a one-year contract and will be paid $125,000. Her salary is said to be in line with what Pack would have made had he stayed through this year. Pack is leaving mid-way through a four-year deal.
