Kent County received a $326,000 grant from the federal government to upgrade the water treatment plant in Worton. In addition to the grant, Kent County will receive a $340,000 loan from the Agriculture Department. Kent County previously had received loans and grants for more than $7-million for various water treatment plant projects.
