Kent County Commissioners passed a bill that gives a big break to low-income senior citizens who are homeowners. Homeowners age 60 and older who make less than $25,000 a year in income can get all their property tax refunded. Commissioner Bill Pickrum stated getting that bill passed has been a goal of his since he was first elected.
