Queen Anne’s County is renovating and adding onto Kent Island Elementary. Phase one of the project is now complete, including nine new classrooms, a music room, computer lab, media center, gym, cafeteria, and a new principal’s office. The school is now heated and cooled by geothermal energy. By the end of summer, Bayside Elementary should have its new roof.
