Library Retro Gaming Day

“On Friday, April 24, the Kent Island Branch of the Queen Anne’s County Free Library hosted a “”Retro Gaming Day.”” To help children of all ages observe Turn off the TV/Mental Detox Week, the library provided families with an opportunity to play board games. Some families brought their own games. Blokus, shared by the Rachel Rowland family and pictured below, was the favorite of the day. While the children played other games including Lego Soccer, Battleship, and Twist ‘N Turn, adults also joined in by playing Scrabble and Blokus.”
