“Linda Berry, Stevensville resident and Designer for Celebrating Home, recently returned from the company’s Rally 2009 conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The gathering, held August 13 – 15 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, was designed to re-energize Designers with a spirit of enthusiasm to make their businesses successful. According to Berry, the celebratory event was beyond what is usually offered at your typical conference.

“”The most beneficial attributes to the Rally included the camaraderie among Designers, the educational training sessions and the informative workshops. I was able to learn interesting tactics other Designers are using with their businesses, I learned about the strong direction the company is taking, and was informed of new decorating and entertaining trends in the industry,”” Berry said. “”I am extremely excited to implement what I’ve learned to my business here in Stevensville.””

The event kicked off with a wild-cheering, adrenaline-pumping, “”Team Spirit”” day, which was fitting, as the theme of the conference was “”It’s a Team Thing!”” Designed to help attendees gain confidence and share ideas through creativity, several workshops took place at the event. Workshop topics included learning the tools of the trade with the “”Extreme Makeover – Designer Edition”” workshop and product-related discussions, such as the “”A-Door-Able Product Ideas”” workshop.

In addition, new programs were announced for Designers, including Debt-Free Living with Founder Steve Carlile and Flexible Lifestyle and Spiritual Living with devotionals from Founder Penny Carlile. Over 1,000 Designers were recognized for top sales, sponsoring and leadership. And 1,000 bonus points were given, which Designers can use toward a company-sponsored incentive trip. Designers also got a sneak peek of new Celebrating Home products.
