Local authors Diane Marquette and Judy Reveal will be participating in a variety of events on the Eastern Shore where they will be signing their published works. Marquette, of Cambridge and Reveal of Greensboro, will share their mysterious wisdoms with visitors to the News Center at Talbot Center on Saturday, May 9 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Marquette is the author of In Over My Head and Too Close For Words, the first two installments of the Chesapeake Conference Center mystery series. In the third book, Suitable for Framing, her protagonist Jill McCormick returns to the center to save the life of the Governor’s wife.
Reveal’s first book, Cheating Death was set in bucolic Kent County, where protagonist Lindsey Gale finds herself wrapped up in plagiarism and murder; in the newest installment, The Music Room, Lindsey Gale and her friend Conrad Trent must resolve a 70 year old mystery and murder that leads to more of the same today.
Both authors are active participants in the Bay To Ocean Writers’ Conference every February and both are active members of ESWA (Eastern Shore Writers’ Association). Reveal is on the slate as President and Marquette as Vice President.
On Saturday, May 9, Reveal will continue a book signing at Harrison Street Books from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday, May 16, Reveal will join author Hal Wilson, The Night Blooming Cereus, at a book signing table at Kent Island Days in Stevensville, MD from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
