Michelle Burgoon of Easton has recently been appointed Director of Marketing at Londonderry Retirement Community of Easton. Burgoon was previously Volunteer Coordinator at Talbot Hospice Foundation in Easton. Prior to this position, Burgoon worked in senior housing and healthcare sales positions in Pennsylvania.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Her civic involvement includes being a Mid Shore Mediator and serving on the board of the Talbot County Free Library. She resides with her husband in Easton.
Burgoon comments, “While this position is marketing Londonderry to potential residents, a large part of the job is also helping people make a significant decision in their lives which affects their quality of life. I especially enjoy the fact that there are important intrinsic social rewards to my work, like being a part of the Londonderry family.”
Londonderry was the first cooperative independent living retirement community on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and is now home to 140 residents.
