A passenger in a car stopped by a state trooper was charged with drug possession. Maryland State Police said Judy Rose Davidson, 18, of Chester was driving a 1996 Buick west on U.S. Route 50 approaching Piney Creek Road. Police said the car was stopped because the trooper noticed equipment violations. Police allegedly found a plastic bag with marijuana in the car. Police arrested Derek Lee Parker, 20, of Glen Burnie. He was charged with possession of marijuana and released on $2,500 bond.
