There are new developments in the domestic violence case involving Dr. John Mastandrea, the Talbot County oncologist who is running for a seat on the Talbot school board. Recently, a judge dismissed one charge against Mastandrea, but at the same time refused to consolidate the other two charges and try him at the same time on a single charge. Mastandrea and his wife have been involved in the dispute for months, including an alleged incident over the summer that resulted in the Mastandreas filing protective orders against each other.
