Memorial Hospital Foundation Welcomes Gardner

“The Memorial Hospital Foundation recently welcomed Debbie Gardner to the staff. The Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization serving the fundraising needs of The Memorial Hospital at Easton and Shore Health System.

Debbie Gardner is the development associate for the Memorial Hospital Foundation. In this role she coordinates fundraising events, such as the annual Shore Health System golf tournament and the elegant dinner dances that raise funds for healthcare programs and services provided by Shore Health System across the Mid-Shore region. Gardner also administers the Foundation’s Everyday Heroes program, which gives patients and their families an opportunity to make donations to the Memorial Hospital Foundation in recognition of Shore Health System staff who have provided exceptional care.

Gardner earned a bachelor of art’s degree from the University of Richmond. A resident of Easton, she brings to the Memorial Foundation experience in fund development she acquired working for non-profit organizations in Iowa and Illinois. She has served as a member of Saints Peter and Paul High School’s Parent Executive Board, she is a past board member of Shore Gymnastics Parents Organization and Talbot Swim Club, and is actively involved in Talbot County YMCA Stingray Swimming.

“Debbie brings valuable experience and skills to the Memorial Hospital Foundation,” says Julia Marlowe, Vice President of Philanthropy for Shore Health System. “We are fortunate to have her energy and professionalism on our team.”
