Maryland Natural Resources Police found the body of 52-year-old Nikolaus Pawlyk of Marydel, Delaware in the Chester River after his wife reported him missing. His body was transported to Baltimore for an autopsy. A NRP spokesman says Pawlyk had a boat moored offshore at Rolph’s Wharf, and often swam out to the vessel. His body was recovered about 500 yards from the boat.
