All kids love to make music, and they especially love to make music LOUD! On Wednesday, July 1, at 10:30 a.m. in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, and again at 2:30 p.m. in the St. Michaels branch, children can give vent to their innate musicality using objects as simple and commonplace as spoons, paper bags, and washboards. Parents need not pre-register their children for the “Shake, Rattle, and Spoon” program, but tickets are required to attend. Free tickets for either the Easton or St. Michaels show can be picked up at the respective branches beginning June 24. For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.
