Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation designed new Fall Basketball Leagues so players can get in shape before the regular season. Players must be enrolled in a high school.
Girls’ High School Fall Basketball League is for ages 13 to 18 and will be held at Kent Island High School on Saturdays, from September 12 through November 7, 2009.
Boys’ High School Fall Basketball League is also for ages 13 to 18 and will be held at Queen Anne’s County High School on Saturdays, from September 12 through November 7, 2009.

The cost for each program is $30 per person. Both leagues will follow the format of two 20-minute halves. All coaches must submit the names of their players and each player is required to fill out a registration form. Individuals signing up for the league, who are not already part of a team, will be assigned to a team. For more information call Joan at 410-758-0835 ext. 2525.
