News From the Kent County Public Library

Along with the League of Women Voters, the Library is hosting the visiting author, Kate Clifford Larson for the presentation, HARRIET TUBMAN: THE HISTORY, MYTH AND MEMORY OF AN AMERICAN ICON.

Dr Larson is a Historian and Tubman scholar having written the definitive 2003 biography- BOUND FOR THE PROMISED LAND, HARRIET TUBMAN, PORTRAIT OF AN AMERICAN HERO.

Please join us to celebrate Women’s History Month on Thursday, March 19th at 11:00am at the Chestertown Branch, 408 High Street.

The children’s department has a new craft program called CREATE IT @ YOUR LIBRARY.
