Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties have a new District Court judge. John Nunn the third found out just before Christmas that Governor O’Malley had selected him over two other candidates to run the five-county District-3 bench. Nunn must still be confirmed by the state senate, but no problems are anticipated with the confirmation. Nunn, who is 50 years-old, spent 16 years as a Public Defender. Once confirmed, he will have a job for at least ten years.
