This past May, a field day was held on Bill Mason’s farm to discuss organic no-till cover crops as a part of the Organic Grain & Forage workshop series. Now that the harvest season is here, a follow-up session is being held to observe the results of the corn and soybeans that were no-till planted into the rolled cover crops. Attention will be given to which weed species came through the mulch, differences between treatments in amount of weed biomass at harvest, and crop yields.

Bill Mason, along with researchers and educators from Penn State University, the Rodale Institute, Maryland Cooperative Extension, and USDA-BARC will be available to answer any questions you may have.
