The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy to serve as an alternate on the Property Tax Assessment Appeals Board. In each county and Baltimore City, a property tax assessment appeals board hears appeals from property owners in its area who disagree with the assessed values by the State Department of Assessments and Taxation.

The County Commissioners will forward three names to the Governor, who will appoint one person to fill the alternate vacancy.
