The Queen Anne’s County Department of Social Services is recruiting for Advisory Board Members now that several members have left the board. Director Cathy Dougherty is hoping to find individuals who can attend ten meetings per year and who are interested in being supportive of the agency’s population. Queen Anne’s County citizens interested in serving on the Advisory Board may send a letter of interest to the Queen Anne’s County Department of Social Services, 125 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617, Attention: Nadine M. Mentecki. The continuing Advisory Board Members are Gail Lunberg, Martha Anthony, Robin Heinecke, Deborah Lawrence, Kate Tumulty and Queen Anne’s County Commissioner Paul Gunther.
