QACHS Student Struck During Robbery Attempt

The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old Queen Anne’s County High School student was flown to Shock-Trauma after an altercation at the school left her with a concussion, two black eyes, and several cuts and bruises on her face. A 15-year-old QACHS student was charged through juvenile justice with assault and theft. It appears the 17-year-old victim was beaten after coming to the aid of another student who reportedly was being robbed at the time. The 17-year-old is now home from Shock-Trauma and is being praised by school officials for taking quick action to help another student.
