Dr. Carol Williamson is staying on as school superintendent in Queen Anne’s County. The Board of Education removed the “”interim”” tag from her title this week, choosing the 16-year system veteran unanimously over two other finalists. Williamson says raising achievement and addressing community feedback are two of her highest priorities. Her four-year term officially gets underway July 1st.
