Banners  Light blue banners went up last week that feature the town seal, its Latin motto (“”Little Town on the Water””), and welcome visitors to “”Historic Queenstown.”” Twenty-seven of the new banners have been mounted on utility poles along Main Street, Del Rhodes Avenue and a portion of Maryland Avenue. A few banners also are located on the south side of Route 301 near Prime Outlets and Friel Lumber. The banners cost about $6,500, and the cost reportedly was covered by donations from local businesses and residents.
