Teens can be very imaginative about getting alcohol. Fake IDs are one key way they evade minimum age laws. Some borrow IDs from older siblings or friends. Others attempt to alter IDs, often with less than perfect results.
Today’s technology can make it hard to detect high quality forgeries. Veteran Detective Martin Johnson will present some of the most common types of fake IDs and how to recognize them.
