Businesses: Avoid Illegal Alcohol Sales To Minors

Teens can be very imaginative about getting alcohol. Fake IDs are one key way they evade minimum age laws. Some borrow IDs from older siblings or friends. Others attempt to alter IDs, often with less than perfect results. 

Today’s technology can make it hard to detect high quality forgeries. Veteran Detective Martin Johnson will present some of the most common types of fake IDs and how to recognize them.

Teaches law enforcement officers, retail alcohol/tobacco industry representatives and MVA investigators on detection and investigation of fictitious and counterfeit driver’s licenses. Counterfeit documents training with the U.S. Secret Service, University of Maryland Police Dept, Prince George‘s County Police Dept, U.S. Dept of Justice- Immigration and Naturalization Service, and Social Security Administration.  Basic and advanced criminal investigations training from the Montgomery, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel Counties,MD State Police Depts; U.S. Secret Service; and FBI National Academy.
