Dave Stevens, C.S.B., will conduct a discussion and audio chat (via spirituality.com) about releasing the past through prayer on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 2-3 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Easton, 501 S. Washington St.
Is it really possible to leave the past behind and make a totally fresh start? The Bible cites God as saying, “Behold, I make all things new” (Rev. 21:5). During this live chat, you’ll learn how to see this promise in your own life. When things feel out of control, you can find stability in a spiritual foundation. Dave Stevens will be ready to answer your questions by showing you how prayer will free you from the past and open the door to a progressive future.
For the past 15 years, Stevens has been based in Petaluma, California, where he works as a Christian Science practitioner and teacher. He is active in interfaith work and serves on the boards of non-profit organizations. As a high school Biology teacher, athletic coach, college counselor, and college dean, Stevens utilized the ideas of Mary Baker Eddy’s Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures to help bring out students’ capabilities.
All are lovingly invited to this live audio chat, as well as Sunday service at 10:30 and Wednesday testimonial meetings at 12 noon. The chat will also be archived and accessible as of January 15 onspirituality.com.
