Saturday at about 1630 Hours, two Afro-American Males entered Phillips Garage located at 119 Main Street, Sudlersville, Maryland wearing black Ski Masks. On of the suspects demanded that the female clerk give him the money in the cash register, while a the second suspect went into the office are and removed the security recorder. Both subjects then fled the location with several hundred dollars of cash and the recorder. No weapons were displayed according to the clerk, who was unable to see if the subjects fled on foot or a vehicle and in what direction.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and MSP Troopers responded and were unable to locate any suspects. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit responded and have been assigned the case.
