SHA Project In Barclay Could Cause Delays

The Maryland State Highway Administration said a project to resurface a section of state Route 313 in Queen Anne’s County is expected to start the week of October 27. Nearly six miles of Route 313 between state Route 302 (Barclay Road) and the Caroline County line will be patched and repaved. Weather permitting, the $638,000 project will be completed by mid-November. Work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Variable message signs, temporary traffic signs, drums and flagmen will guide motorists through the work zone. The contract was awarded to David A. Bramble Inc., of Chestertown.
