A paid Salisbury firefighter is facing charges for allegedly impersonating a police officer. David Cox was arrested after allegedly admitting that he pretended to be a cop and was pulling people over along Route-13. WBOC 16 reports that Cox was using an unmarked police vehicle rigged with emergency lights that used to belong to the Fruitland Police Department. Authorities say a search of his home revealed a gun, bullets, and handcuffs. Police say Cox claimed that the Dorchester County Fire Department deputized him to make traffic stops.
