Julie George, aesthetician at Head Rush Salon in Easton, visited Shore Regional Cancer Center to deliver fifty $25 gift certificates donated by salon owner Penny McCafferty. Accepting the donation on behalf of the Cancer Center were Brian Leutner, director of oncology services for Shore Health System, and social worker Patricia Plaskon, PhD, LCSW-C, OSW-C. Plaskon and her colleague Pam Black, LCSW-C, OSW/C, will distribute the gift certificates to Cancer Center patients and their caregivers who need pampering at the holidays. The gift certificates can be used toward a massage, manicure, pedicure, facial and hair services.
