BASIC INCOME TAX PREPARATION
This 10-week course includes tax basics, tax law, income, deductions, credits, tax computations, tax forms; business and individual tax planning, filing taxes, and tax terms using MHEC approved textbooks. Classes held at Easton High School, Monday & Thursdays, 9/10 – 11/19/09, 6 – 9 pm. Course fee: $100. A Boating Safety Course Designed for the Novice Boater
The skipper is incapacitated and the vessel operation is now in your hands – what will you do? This course will familiarize the student with the basics of vessel safety equipment, electronic instrumentation, navigation aids, vessel operation, and effective communications with the Coast Guard and Department of Natural Resources. ADVANCED CAKE DECORATING
Create a take-home (delicious) masterpiece! Students with learn advanced flower techniques such as basket weave; string work; stacking and tiering cake constructions; wedding, and anniversary cakes. CARTOONING FOR PROFIT

Ever wondered where cartoon inspirations come from or what makes a cartoon so funny? Join Rick Kollinger, professional cartoonist, long-time popular columnist, and 18 time winner of the Maryland, Delaware and D.C. Press Association’s Award for Editorial Cartooning, to learn his secrets of finding inspiration for funny ideas and creating comic strips along with greeting cards and editorial cartoons. Course fee: $99 and tuition of $26 (in-county). Classes held at the Wye Mills campus Monday & Thursday, 9/14 – 10/22/09, 6pm – 7:30 pm. COME DANCE WITH ME!
Belly dancers are beautiful women of all shapes and sizes who come together to learn, promote and preserve this ancient art form – while having FUN! No prior dance training is required.
