On Saturday, June 14, shoppers at the Easton Wal-Mart visited the GE Women’s Health and Wellness Tour, a custom-designed semi trailer from GE Healthcare created to help educate women about important health issues.

The event, which was sponsored by Shore Health System, was staffed by nurses, physicians, radiology technologists and other staff from Shore Health System and area healthcare organizations. Visitors to the health fair received free blood pressure and bone density screening and information about heart health, breast cancer prevention, nutrition and other health topics of interest to women and their families.
