Travelers will be able to catch Shore Transit and Greyhound buses from the same terminal. Greyhound announced last week that Shore Transit, the transit authority for the lower Eastern Shore, will be its Salisbury agent. Greyhound will move from its terminal on Cypress Street to North Salisbury Boulevard, where Shore Transit leases space. A proposal for a joint operation downtown on Calvert Street was abandoned. Shore Transit director Riggin Johnson said a partnership would give passengers easier access to both distance and local transport.
