Siford Named Director of Pharmacy Services for Shore Health System

Susan Siford, PharmD, recently joined Shore Health System as Director of Pharmacy Services. In this role, she will oversee the operation of the pharmacies and clinical pharmacy consultations at The Memorial Hospital at Easton and Dorchester General Hospital as well as the Antithrombosis Clinic at Memorial Hospital.

Siford completed the pre-pharmacy undergraduate program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and earned a doctor of pharmacy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She is currently enrolled in the master of business administration degree program at the University of Maryland, University College. Her professional affiliations include the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Society of Chest Pain Centers

Siford’s pharmacy career began in 1985 when she was a pharmacy technician at Memorial Hospital for five years. After completing her PharmD program, she became a clinical pharmacist at Anne Arundel Medical Center, where she also served as Anticoagulation Service Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator for Pharmacy Operations. For nine years, she was on the faculty of Anne Arundel Community College, instructing physician assistant students in clinical pharmacology.
