The National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers endorses voluntary certification of anticoagulation providers who meet education and patient care experiential requirements. The purpose of the certification process is to protect public health and well being by assessing the knowledge, skills and competencies of individuals who provide anticoagulation education and therapeutic management.
