The SmartDrive “Kick Off” party for our Teenage drivers will take place on October 4th from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm at the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Dept., 212 Broadway, Centreville, Md. 21617. This party is to encourage our teen drivers to join in the fun of good driving skills and at the same time be rewarded for doing so. Live music by DEFRAYAL will allow our youth to socialize and hear some information relating to the program and educating them on how to improve their driving skills.
I hope you’ll support the kick off party as well as the SmartDrive program. Local businesses have been asked to donate items for weekly prizes for those young drivers who are spotted along our roadways using good driving skills and courtesy as they drive. Those who are spotted, will have their tag numbers reported to me so I can enter them in weekly prize drawings. There will be a total of 22 weekly drawings. I hope you’ll support this rewards effort to encourage our teen drivers to use their skills and knowledge and help lower the risk involving our young drivers.
I am supported by Sheriff Gery Hofmann and Sheriff John Price along with many county and local agencies.

First drawing will be held on October 8th
Thank you for your support!
