Sparrow Found Criminally Responsible In Daughter’s Death

A Queen Anne’s County judge ruled Victoria Sparrow is criminally responsible for her three year old daughter’s death last December. Sparrow, of Stevensville, admitted killing her daughter, Laci, during a botched murder-suicide. Sparrow also tried to kill herself, but she survived and was charged after being discharged from the hospital. She pleaded not criminally responsible by reason of insanity. The judge’s ruling means Sparrow may get life without parole when sentenced at the end of September.
